Medium and long range wireless panic alarm systems, featuring static, keyfob and paging transmitters which have the capability of giving an instant alert in the event of an emergency for example in leisure centres, schools, charities, surgeries and lone workers. Ease of installation and simplicity of operation are key features of the systems.

WIRELESS CONTROL LINKS

Long range wireless control systems suitable for a wide range of applications in remote environments. Lighting and pump control are standard features provided by the links.

Factors to be considered when sourcing a high integrity wireless alarm or control system

• Confirm radio modules used are compliant with European standards (EN300-220 etc) for use in the license exempt band.

• Use of narrow band FM technology which offers high immunity to localised noise and interference from devices utilizing wireless technology.

• Avoid equipment on commonly used frequencies (433.92mhz etc) adopted for applications such as car keyfobs and general house alarms.

• A devices quoted free-space range is under optimum conditions with no obstructions or localised interference, eg if quoted free-space range is 100m realistic working range will be approximately 15-30m.
